We’re working with a warm, community-focused primary school in Downend that puts children at the centre of everything. It’s the kind of place where learning goes beyond the classroom, where curiosity, creativity and inclusion aren’t buzzwords, they’re part of everyday life.

They’re now looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be right there in the classroom, supporting children with SEND to feel safe, understood and ready to learn. That might look like:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support
  • Helping pupils access a broad, engaging curriculum tailored to their needs
  • Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to keep support consistent
  • Creating a calm, structured environment where every child can thrive

  • Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND (essential)
