SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary – Brent

Apex Educ8 is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within primary schools across Brent and the surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Support Workers, or individuals with a strong background supporting children with additional needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils requiring additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and make positive progress within the classroom.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting children with learning, communication, and emotional regulation
• Supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted support
• Promoting a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to support pupils with varying additional needs
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
