Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Buntingford

We’re working with a welcoming, supportive school in Buntingford who are on the lookout for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping create a calm, inclusive learning environment
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to tailor support
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

  • Someone patient, empathetic, and genuinely passionate about SEN
  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is essential
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
