The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has become available for a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-established specialist provision supporting pupils aged 4 to 18. This setting caters for children and young people with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and social, emotional and behavioural challenges.

About the RoleWorking closely with experienced teachers and support staff, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access education and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
- Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
- Adapting to different classrooms and age groups across the setting
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Previous experience working with children or young people (SEN experience highly desirable)
- A patient, resilient and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
