SEN Teaching Assistant & HLTA Opportunities (Full-Time & Part-Time)

- General Teaching Assistants (SEN focus)
- Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA)
- Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistants
About the Role:You will be supporting students with a range of complex needs, helping them access education in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. This is a highly rewarding role suited to individuals who are patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with complex needs including ASD, PMLD, and medical requirements
- Assist with personal care and physical support where required
- Support learning in specialist environments such as sensory rooms and hydrotherapy settings
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver individualised learning plans
- Promote independence, communication, and social development
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (particularly complex needs)
- Comfortable supporting personal care and physical needs
- Calm, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Team player with strong communication skills
- HLTA qualification or relevant experience (for HLTA roles)
