Role: Senior IMS Coordinator

The position.
We are recruiting for a full-time Coordinator to support the implementation and ongoing management of the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS), covering Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards. Reporting to the Compliance Director, this role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
You will have proven experience in planning, defining, and documenting business processes, as well as conducting internal and external audits, ideally within an engineering or technical environment. You will also bring extensive experience in managing relationships with external auditors and governing bodies, taking a lead role in maintaining certification to international and other recognised standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation, management, and continual improvement of a robust IMS, ensuring it remains compliant and certified to:
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management)
- Plan, schedule, and manage the annual audit programme, ensuring effective oversight of compliance across projects and wider business operations
- Monitor and review project compliance using established audit checklists, identifying risks and driving improvements
- Maintain external certifications and act as the key point of contact for certification bodies and other external audit organisations
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a similar IMS or business process-focused role is essential
- Strong working knowledge and audit experience of ISO 9001 (additional ISO standards desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Accurate typing and data entry skills with high levels of consistency and reliability
