SEN Teaching Assistants Required – Secondary SEN School (Redhill)
We are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support a well-established secondary SEN school in Redhill. This setting provides specialist support to students with a range of additional needs, and we are looking for dedicated, reliable individuals who can make a real difference.
Roles Available- Full-time SEN Teaching Assistants (Monday–Friday)
- Day-to-day cover staff for sickness and short-term absences
- Opportunities for long-term placements starting ASAP
- Total: 40 hours per week
- Start time: 8:15am
- Finish times:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 4:45pm
- Tuesday: 5:00pm
- Friday: 4:00pm
- Supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant
- Strong understanding of supporting students with additional needs
- A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
- Ability to adapt to different situations and student needs
- Flexible opportunities (day-to-day or full-time)
