We're looking for a flexible, compassionate, and adaptable individual to join us as a Universal Care Assistant – known internally as a Universal Care Professional – a unique role designed for someone who thrives on variety and truly making a difference wherever they're needed most.
This isn't your typical care role. You'll be at the heart of our service, stepping in to support clients across a range of care settings - ensuring no one is ever left without the exceptional care they deserve.
About the RoleAs a Universal Care Assistant, you'll provide high-quality care across a variety of services, including:
Domiciliary (home) care visits
Emergency and short-notice support
Waking nights and sleep‐ins
Temporary live‐in care placements
Your role will include:
Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
Supporting with daily routines and medication
Preparing meals and providing companionship
Adapting quickly to different clients and environments
Being a reassuring, friendly presence in times of need
£12.71 per hour for travel time
Enhanced rates for waking nights
£130 per day for live-in care assignments
Guaranteed contracted hours for stability and security

Who We're Looking For
Previous care experience (essential)
A flexible and open-minded approach to different types of care
Confidence working across a variety of settings and clients
A calm, reliable, and proactive attitude
Willingness to work a mix of shifts, including nights and live-in when required
A driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
