Responsibilities
Updating the sample tracker throughout the collection's development for either the footwear or design teams.
Organising and maintaining the design floor, sample storage, material and trim libraries
Filing and historic design development record keeping– accurate and concise in approach
Assist with show room set up and take down for meetings and presentations
Monitor competitors, research and provide feedback on current market trends, e.g., seasonal runway research to identify trends, report findings to the design team.
Liaising with other departments on behalf of the design department as required (working closely with buying team, wholesale, and license as well as the post room)
Attend and take notes during product selection and retail collection sign off meetings
Requirements
Hard-working, proactive, and self-motivated
Passionate about fashion with a strong interest in and keen eye for current and upcoming trends
Able to work in a fast-paced design studio environment
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Excellent at building relationships
Basic Excel skills ideal but not compulsory
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills ideal but not compulsory
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
No prior job experience necessary
