Officially opened in 2020 our new state-of-the-art headquarters provides a healthy, thriving environment for our employees and being a family-run business, the well being of our staff is paramount to our success.With a deep-rooted passion for our industry and its people, our work ethos is based on trust and mutual respect.Your Role In Our Team This is a full-time contract for 12-15 months starting in July 2026.Working for the CLAAS shared service centre in the UK, the Finance Placement Student's role will be split between accounting and analysis functions. This is primarily geared towards accounting but will also involve supporting other departments within the finance team where necessary.Tasks for the accounting team: Support with the month-end processes to ensure timely and accurate submissionPreparation of monthly consolidated cash flow for group submissionSupport the Senior Accounting Manager and Trainee Accountant in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsSupport with legal filing requirements (Intrastat, National Statistics)Be a point of contact for the external auditors and tax advisors and support with requests for informationSupport the ledger teams with account reconciliationsSupport the accounting team with recurring monthly tasks (e.g. Bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations etc.)Provide finance data for management as requested.
Tasks for the controlling team: Support with cash flow forecastingCollect and analyse data for forecasting and budget processesSupport in project and CAPEX cost controllingAd-hoc analysis where required
