About the Role

Lead the operational delivery of apprenticeships across multiple curriculum areas

Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, ESFA funding rules and awarding body requirements

Drive quality improvement through audits, learning walks, scrutiny and data analysis

Oversee learner progress, retention, attendance and employer engagement

Lead standardisation, CPD and team meetings to ensure consistently high performance

Prepare the department for audit, inspection and external quality assurance

Promote high expectations, a positive learning culture and disciplined environments

Support recruitment, onboarding and employer partnerships

Provide accurate reporting on performance, risk, compliance and improvement plans

About You

A minimum Level 3 qualification (vocational or academic)

Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification

Assessor and IQA qualifications are desirable

Experience in managing apprenticeship provision, quality assurance and staff performance

A track record of delivering outstanding teaching & learning

Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills

A solution‐focused mindset and the ability to manage risk and drive improvement
