Location: New Milton; Service: Apple House Care – Caird Avenue; Working Hours: 20 hours per week; Salary: £18,565 annually; Startup: Service flagged to open May 2026.

Registered Manager PositionAs the leader of your service your primary role is to ensure the health and wellbeing of our individuals and colleagues, striving to give everyone an opportunity to unlock their potential. You will be required to deliver outstanding quality across your services in line with legal, statutory and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

Process‐driven governance and continuous improvement of services

Coaching and mentoring staff, leading by example and setting the right example

Balancing operations with staff availability, team meetings, and training compliance

Building relationships with families, external professionals and regulators

Transitioning new people into services from assessment through to achieving their full potential

Ensuring accurate documentation, effective written communication and support planning

Reporting, with training provided to deliver accurate and timely information

Registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is required.

About YouYou will have:

Plenty of experience working with people with learning disabilities and/or mental health or complex behaviours across multiple sites.

Established experience as a Registered Manager seeking a new challenge.

A keen eye for detail and a passion for quality and governance.

Level 4 or 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent experience supported by training.

Strong leadership values and excellent communication, influencing at different levels.

Excellent time‐management skills, ability to work independently and to seek continual improvement.

Flexibility to lead across a 7‐day operation, including managing on‐call rota.

Above all, you'll be relentless in providing person‐centred care to unlock potential of those you're supporting.
