As a Bank Staff Nurse in our Gender Affirmation Surgical Nursing Team, you'll be alert, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic.As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will:Responsibilities Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team workerJoin a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led wardFully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needsWork directly with some of the best clinical talent aroundGain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilitiesCollaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient careShow your passion for delivering excellent patient careWork in a busy environment with a varied and interesting caseload in Outpatients servicesTake part in a wide range of procedures, manage clinics and apply your extensive clinical skills to aid recoveryInstinctively meet the needs of patients and their families, offering comfort and reassuranceWork with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity in patient careEnjoy more time to care and get to know your patientsQualifications Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC), with post‐registration experience; you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registrationWilling to work flexibly across In and Out Patients, Consultant and Nurse-led ClinicsWorking pattern Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.About the employer At Brighton Hospital, we provide high standards of patient care using the latest facilities and technology.
