Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Job description

Country Fresh Foods are the regions leading fresh produce supplier. Our wide customer base includes the hospitality sectors leading restaurants & hotels, the education sector, healthcare & local authorities. We supply fresh fruit & vegetables, deli, bakery, dairy and fresh prepared produce.

We are looking to recruit new Multi Drop Drivers within our busy team. This role also includes picking orders for the days deliveries.

The Multi drop Delivery Driver role on offer includes (but is not limited to):

Picking of daily orders

Quality checking orders

Driving a fully refrigerated LWB Mercedes sprinter van

Delivering your daily orders in a professional & safe manner

Vehicle maintenance

Managing your own job load

The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

Good time management

Able to work on own initiative

Ability to lift heavy loads

Morning person

Friendly customer service manner

Able to work as part of a busy team

Driving License held for at least 2 years

Less than 6 points on driving license

4am until finish (usually after fully trained, around 12.30pm however this cannot be guaranteed due to logistical reasons)

5 / 6 days per week Monday - Saturday rota working. Rota days will generally be within the week and Saturdays will be worked most weeks.

1st week would consist of 5 working days and the 2nd week would consist of 6 working days.

28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)

Full time permanent contract. 3 months initial trial period with full training & uniform provided. Secure onsite parking & staff discount provided on produce. No experience necessary. Job security upon successful trial.

Please note that this role includes heavy lifting & working on your feet, do not apply if you cannot easily lift items of 25 kg in weight as this is a requirement of the role.
