A long-term opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire is based in a highly specialised setting designed for pupils aged 11-19, featuring purpose-built facilities and a strong multi-disciplinary support team.

The Role at a Glance...

• Supporting pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
• Working alongside medical professionals and therapists
• Supporting students with conditions requiring PEG feeding and gastrostomy awareness (training provided, if required)

Your Key Duties...

• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Assist with mobility and personal care needs
• Aid implementation of EHCPs
• Encourage independence and communication skills

• Experience working with SEN, ideally complex needs
• Comfort in supporting hygiene and medical-related routines
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
