Specialist SEN Role Supporting Complex Needs - Available Immediately
A long-term opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire is based in a highly specialised setting designed for pupils aged 11-19, featuring purpose-built facilities and a strong multi-disciplinary support team.
The Role at a Glance...
- Supporting pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
- Working alongside medical professionals and therapists
- Supporting students with conditions requiring PEG feeding and gastrostomy awareness (training provided, if required)
Your Key Duties...
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Assist with mobility and personal care needs
- Aid implementation of EHCPs
- Encourage independence and communication skills

- Experience working with SEN, ideally complex needs
- Comfort in supporting hygiene and medical-related routines
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
