HR Assistant (Temporary – Immediate Start)

London | Competitive hourly rate Full-time | Until 31 August

We are urgently recruiting for an organised and detail-focused HR Assistant to support a busy school environment during a key period of transition. This temporary role will focus heavily on Safer Recruitment and compliance, alongside general HR administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing pre-employment checks including DBS, references, Right to Work and qualifications
  • Supporting Safer Recruitment processes in line with safeguarding requirements
  • Ensuring all compliance documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Supporting onboarding and vetting processes
  • Providing general HR administrative support as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous HR admin experience, ideally within a school or education setting
  • Knowledge of Safer Recruitment / compliance processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information
  • Confident communicator and highly organised
  • Available to start immediately

Compliance Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
  • Two professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
