HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

The Staffing Network are llooking for class 1 HGV/LGV drivers in St Helens and Castleford.

Curtain-side logistics, mainly trunking and drop & swap operations. Loads are fragile, requiring a steady, professional driving style. Occasional self-tipping (rare) at St Helens. Deliveries into DCs or inter-depot trunking at Wakefield.

Shift Patterns:

• St Helens(KJD13H):Nights. Start times: 17:0018:00. Approx. 10-hour shifts.
• St Helens (KJDDS02): Days on a 5 on/ 3 off basis, start times between 0500-0800
• Wakefield (KJDNHW01) Days on a 5 on/ 3 off basis starts between 0500-0800 (temp to perm opportunities)

Pay Rates:

• Days (Mon-Fri): £16.00 per hour PAYE, £17.93 inc Holiday pay
• Nights (Mon-Fri): £17.00 per hour PAYE, £19.11 inc Holiday pay
• Saturday: £18.00 per hour PAYE, £20.25 inc Holiday pay
• Sunday: £19.00 per hour PAYE, £21.38 inc Holiday pay

All applicants must hold a currentLGV C+E driving licence, DQC and Digicard. Minimum 1 years Class 1 (C+E) experience with recent driving experience within the last 6 months. No more than 6 points on licence. No CD, IN, DR or TT endorsements.
