Position: Assistant Development Manager
Location: Snow Hill Wharf, Birmingham, B4 6LS
Working Hours:Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1730
Salary:£34,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: A permanent position

Development Details:
This role will be based at a luxury residential development located in Birmingham. The development consist 420 residential apartments and benefits from an on-site gym, pool, sauna, steam room, residents lounge and cinema. The development is a short walk from Birminghams Snow Hill train station.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As an Assistant Development Manager at Rendall & Rittner:
- You will have experience in a similar role, overseeing on-site teams and supporting the manager with health and safety compliance, operational standards, and general building management.
- You will have a proven track record of working within demanding developments, taking a hands-on approach with the ability to lead, prioritise tasks, and effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
- You will have experience carrying out regular site inspections, ensuring Health & Safety regulations are adhered to, and maintaining a good working knowledge of building maintenance systems.
- You will have experience managing external contractors, coordinating on-site works, and raising or monitoring work orders to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
- You will be confident in overseeing day-to-day site operations, including responding to resident queries and complaints, reporting issues to the relevant departments, taking ownership, and ensuring clear and timely communication.
- You will ensure that all staff follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and consistently deliver a high-quality, bespoke service to residents, clients, and guests.
- You will be IT proficient, comfortable using a range of systems and software, and able to quickly learn new platforms when required.
- You will bring strong customer service experience, with the ability to manage complaints professionally, work safely, and operate effectively within a team environment while leading, motivating, and inspiring others.
- You will be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve the performance of the development and contribute to achieving strong operational results.
