Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a long-standing Chep pallets contract based in Wakefield.

This role involves delivering pallets using curtainside and flatbed vehicles, operating from an unmanned trailer site. The work is straightforward with clear instructions, making it ideal for drivers looking for consistency.

• Driving a Class 2 curtainside or flatbed vehicle
• Delivering Chep pallets to sites across the region
• Securing loads using ratchets and straps
• Following clear delivery instructions (trailer numbers often provided via text)
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance
• Using a smartphone for delivery updates and app-based tasks

• Start time: 06:00
• Day shifts with flexible working patterns
• Overtime paid after 10 hours per day

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Confident using ratchets and straps
• Own smartphone required (for delivery app use)
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
