About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and enthusiastic Registered Manager to lead our children’s home. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, compassionate leadership and lead by example in all aspects of care and practice
- Ensure the home operates in full compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
- Develop and maintain a positive, child-focused culture that promotes wellbeing, resilience, and growth
- Support, mentor, and inspire staff to deliver outstanding care
- Build effective relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and risk management processes
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the service
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in managing within a children’s residential setting
- A natural leader who leads with integrity, empathy, and professionalism
- Creative in their approach to problem-solving and care delivery
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
- Kind, patient, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children
- Confident in managing teams and fostering a positive working environment
Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualification in childcare or social care (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
