About the RoleA friendly and inclusive primary school in Kettering is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team straight away. This role involves working closely with pupils across the school, providing additional support to help them access learning and reach their full potential.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils in class, both 1:1 and in small groups
Assist the teacher with delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and involved in learning
Provide additional support for children with varying needs
Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
Help prepare classroom resources and activities
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar)
Patient, caring, and supportive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, proactive, and adaptable
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Passionate about education and helping children succeed
Immediate start in a welcoming Kettering primary school
Full-time, term-time only position
