1:1 Teaching Assistant

Thursdays and Fridays only each week until July 2026

This role is for a Teaching Assistant to work on Thursdays and Fridays only, providing one-to-one support for a male primary-aged pupil in Key Stage 2. The pupil has diabetes, and the successful individual will support the student throughout the school day.

Training will be provided to ensure the pupil’s medical needs are fully understood and properly supported. However, the ideal candidate must be comfortable administering diabetes-related medication and monitoring the pupil’s wellbeing as required.

The position is ongoing, with the potential to continue until the end of the academic year, dependent on the needs of the pupil and school requirements.

This role requires a calm, confident, and caring individual who can provide consistent support in a one-to-one setting while working closely with school staff to ensure the pupil’s safety and inclusion in learning activities.
