ASD Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Hackney - Starting ASAP - Full Time - Long Term - £90-£110 Per Day (dependent on experience)

• ASD Teaching Assistant required in Hackney
• ASD Teaching Assistant required for an immediate start
• ASD Teaching Assistant required to support 1 pupil with ASD in KS1
• Must have prior experience supporting children with ASD

The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant

As a ASD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a child with ASD in a KS1 classroom, providing tailored support to help them access learning and develop key skills. You will play a vital role in creating a calm, nurturing atmosphere, using strategies to support communication, engagement, and behaviour. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to helping children reach their full potential. Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD is highly desirable.
