Teaching Assistant

• Location: Croydon
• Job Type: Full-time (5 days a week)
• Salary: £90 - £105 per day
• Start Date: ASAP or September

We are currently seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for positions in schools across Croydon. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about contributing to the educational and personal development of students. Immediate start available, with options to begin in September as well.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the delivery of daily lessons and educational activities.
• Support individual students and small groups to help them meet their educational goals.
• Manage classroom resources and setup required for specific activities.
• Work closely with teachers to monitor and report on student progress.
• Assist with the management of student behaviour to ensure a constructive learning environment.
• Participate in school meetings and training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive and compassionate approach to student learning and well-being.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
