Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Salford)
A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Salford is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit a dedicated, proactive, and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role within the classroom, working closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
- Assisting with the planning, delivery, and review of lessons
- Helping to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND and EAL
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting effective classroom routines
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual with a genuine passion for supporting children’s development. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
- A positive, proactive attitude and a love for supporting learning
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent – highly desirable)
