We are currently seeking caring, patient, and dedicated qualified and unqualified SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of SEN schools throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil, and Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while gaining valuable experience in specialist educational settings.
About the Role- Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities, and complex learning needs
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
- Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment
- Adapt your approach to suit pupils’ communication styles, interests, and abilities
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Is patient, caring, resilient, and adaptable
- Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and staff
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience within SEN settings is desirable but not essential

- Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- References covering the past two years
