SEND Teaching Assistant – Nurture Hub (Primary School)Middlesbrough

A welcoming primary school in Middlesbrough is looking for a caring and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a nurture hub, helping them develop confidence, emotional regulation, and access to learning.

Start: September start!Role: SEND Teaching Assistant

• Support pupils with SEMH needs in a nurture hub setting
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement
• Adapt activities to meet individual needs
• Work closely with the teacher and SENCO
• Support reintegration into mainstream where appropriate

• Experience working with children (SEND/SEMH desirable)
• Patient, calm and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptable and proactive attitude
