About the Role

CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking forHGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driverson behalf of our client based inPreston. Due to continued business growth and high demand, we have bothongoingandad-hoc night shiftsavailable offering you flexibility and stability in line with your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry outnationwide night trunking deliveries and collections
• Secure all loads correctly and safely
• Complete pre- and post-use vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly
• Maintain communication with the transport office throughout the shift
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned as required
• Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and professionalism

Requirements:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• CPC qualificationandDigital Tachograph card
• No more than6 points on your licence no DR, IN, or TT endorsements
• Strong knowledge ofdriving hours - TACHO rules
• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently

• Standard rate£17/h or £19/hwith holiday included
• Overtime rate after 8h£24.75/h or £27.74/hwith holiday included
