SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School in Redbridge- September start

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with students with a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support within the classroom and during targeted interventions
  • Help pupils stay engaged, confident, and supported in their learning
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCo, teaching staff, and pastoral teams
  • Contribute to a safe, caring, and structured learning environment where every student feels understood and valued
About You:

  • Experienced working with children or young people with SEND (school, youth work, care, nursing mentoring or similar) or teaching assistant experience in a secondary school
  • Warm, patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships
  • Reliable, committed, and passionate about supporting students who need that extra encouragement
  • Calm under pressure and able to adapt to individual student needs
