HLTAs & COVER SUPERVISORS – CROYDON

Reed Education is currently recruiting experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) and Cover Supervisors to work across Inspire Partnership primary schools in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-established school network, with consistent work available.

About the Roles

We are looking for confident and adaptable professionals to deliver high-quality classroom cover across a range of year groups.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons during teacher absence
• Providing PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) cover
• Leading whole-class sessions independently
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting pupils to stay engaged and on task

Requirements

To be successful in these roles, you will need:

• Previous experience delivering pre-planned lessons in a primary setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence working across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
• A proactive, flexible and professional approach
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
