STEM Teaching Assistant | Hackney | 1st June 2026 Start

A high-performing secondary school in Hackney is seeking a STEM Teaching Assistant to join from 1st June 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis until the end of the academic year in July 2026, with strong potential for extension from September 2026. This opportunity is ideal for a high-achieving graduate with strong child-centred experience looking to gain meaningful secondary school experience supporting KS3KS4 students across Science and Maths.

The school has developed a strong reputation for inclusion, academic progress and SEND provision, with a Progress 8 score above national averages and established intervention systems across core subjects. STEM Teaching Assistant Immediate Start | Hackney
£513.11 weekly via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

Hold a strong STEM-related degree from a leading university
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Possess strong child-centred experience working with young people
Demonstrate initiative, patience and a genuine interest in education
