Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Manchester | £30,000 base + uncapped commission

We’re hiring a motivated Sales Development Representative to join a fast‑growing technology company based in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on outbound sales, enjoys working towards targets, and wants a clear pathway into a long‑term career in tech sales.


As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, responsible for generating high‑quality sales opportunities and helping fuel the wider sales pipeline. Your work will play a critical role in driving growth and shaping the company’s commercial success.



The role


You’ll focus on identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities through proactive outbound activity.


Key responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and engaging potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Running discovery conversations to understand needs and qualify opportunities
  • Booking high‑quality meetings and product demos for Account Executives
  • Consistently hitting activity, pipeline, and revenue‑influencing targets
  • Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
  • Working closely with sales and marketing teams to improve messaging and outreach strategies



What we’re looking for


This role would suit someone who:

  • Communicates confidently and is comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders
  • Is resilient, competitive, and motivated by targets and commission
  • Enjoys outbound prospecting and handling objections
  • Is organised, coachable, and quick to learn new products
  • Has previous SDR, sales, or customer‑facing experience (beneficial but not essential)
