You will support a diverse portfolio of businesses across the group, including healthcare recruitment, NHS and local authority contracts, private sector opportunities, and CQC-registered healthcare services.
The Role
As our Part-Time Bid Writer Specialist, you will lead and support the full bid lifecycle — from identifying opportunities through to submission and post-tender processes.
You will support with:
- Bid and tender management
- Framework applications and renewals
- Compliance reviews and quality assurance
- Content writing and bid library development
- Opportunity tracking and reporting
- Coordinating information across multiple teams and services
You will work closely with operational leaders, compliance teams, and senior management to produce compelling, high-quality submissions that reflect the values, expertise, and ambitions of the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing, editing, and submitting high-quality bids, tenders, and framework applications
- Managing the full bid process from opportunity identification through to submission
- Reviewing tender requirements and ensuring compliance with specifications and scoring criteria
- Coordinating responses and supporting evidence across departments
- Supporting bids across NHS, local authority, private sector, and CQC-regulated healthcare services
- Maintaining and developing bid libraries, case studies, policies, and supporting documentation
- Managing timelines and ensuring all submissions are completed within deadlines
- Supporting framework renewals, clarifications, and post-submission responses
- Researching new opportunities and identifying areas for business growth
- Helping improve bid processes, quality standards, and overall success rates
About You
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience within bid writing, tender management, or proposal writing
- Experience working with healthcare, recruitment, NHS, public sector, or private sector tenders
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confidence working independently while collaborating across teams
- An understanding of CQC-regulated services or healthcare compliance would be highly advantageous
