Gleeson Recruitment Group is looking for a Account Manager

Job description

This is a warm-sales, relationship-focused role, where you will engage with existing members and introduce them to a broader portfolio of services, including networking events and HR & Health & Safety consultancy.

Working closely with Business Development Managers, this role plays a key part in supporting commercial growth and strengthening member engagement by developing long-term client relationships.

  • Identify needs and qualify opportunities through structured conversations
  • Follow up with event attendees and nurture ongoing interest
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates within the CRM system
  • Collaborate with advisers and Business Development Managers to build pipeline
  • Contribute to team targets and overall performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with quality, data, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and development

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Make outbound calls and send emails in line with agreed campaigns
  • Handle inbound enquiries, resolving or directing as appropriate
  • Build knowledge of member organisations, their challenges, and priorities
  • Promote relevant events and ensure suitability for attendees
  • Clearly explain subscription services and commercial offerings
  • Use structured questioning techniques to guide engagement
  • Accurately record all interactions in the CRM system
  • Follow up actions within agreed timescales
  • Work to defined activity levels, quality standards, and KPIs
  • Engage in continuous development through coaching and training

Requirements

  • Experience in an outbound calling environment (e.g. Recruitment, telesales, insurance, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and accurate data entry
  • Proven experience working to KPIs and performance targets
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of services and membership offerings
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
