Business Development Manager | Construction & M&E | North West (Hybrid)

Our client. EFT Group is looking for a Strategic Growth Specialist to help shape how the business grows over the next five years across their Construction and Electrical businesses.

The role

You’ll work directly with senior leadership, building a relationship-led growth function from scratch. This is about credibility, trust, and smart commercial thinking — not transactional sales.

Your focus:

• Public sector & frameworks (NHS, local authorities, RISE)
• Key sectors: Education, Healthcare, Social Housing, Care
• Developing high-quality, long-term client relationships
• Driving sustainable, profitable growth (targeting 20%+ GM)

What matters

• Strong track record in Construction / ME BD
• Experience with public sector frameworks (essential)
• Comfortable operating with senior stakeholders
• A consultative, relationship-first approach

The offer

• £50k base + OTE £100k+
• Car / allowance + private healthcare
• Clear path to senior opportunities

You’ll spend your time where it matters — with clients, building partnerships (with the odd bit of hospitality thrown it). The office is in Merseyside where you will based from 2 days a week with travel to meet clients primarily around the North West region.
