Job Overview
This is a hybrid Account and Project Management role, combining strategic client relationship management with the detailed planning and execution of high-profile events. You will act as the senior point of contact for a key Formula 1 account, among other sports, shaping commercial strategy and ensuring client satisfaction - while also leading cross-functional teams to deliver every event on time, on budget and to Fury’s exacting standards.
This role includes the requirement to travel internationally and work onsite at events for periods up to 2 weeks at a time.
Tasks and Duties (list not exhaustive)
- Support Senior Account Director in the management of key client accounts in sports partnerships, including Formula 1.
- Lead the senior level client relationship, including building and maintaining senior-level client relationships, and acting as the primary day-to-day contact and strategic advisor.
- Commercial management on a project-by-project basis, and support the Senior Account Director in the accounts annual P&L management.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within the account to grow revenue and strengthen long-term client partnerships.
- Attending client meetings and feeding back information and briefs to the wider team concisely
- Create client facing proposals in combination with Creative and New Business teams and leading on client presentations.
- Ensure all account activity follows Fury’s process framework and governance standards
- Drive consistency in budget management, documentation and reporting
- Lead post-project reviews and ensure learnings are embedded into future delivery
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, profitability, and team performance
- Coordinate and motivate cross-disciplinary teams (creative, production, technical) to ensure seamless communication, accountability and delivery
- Work with and manage suppliers, either directly or supporting internal Production and Technical teams.
- Creating and maintaining documentation to Fury internal standards, such as, but not limited to; budgets, briefs, critical paths, post project reviews, meeting reports etc.
- Working closely with in-house creative, project management & production teams to deliver innovative environments for our clients including management of application of brand, client approvals and liaising with suppliers and venues during pre-event and on-site delivery
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team, improving capability and confidence
- Conduct regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews and development planning for relevant team members
Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Creative Event Agency environment in Account / Project Management, within Motorsport preferable, with a sponsorship and/or events background
- Proven experience of the commercial management required for a multi-event annual account
- Experience of working with and presenting to Senior Level Client groups, stakeholders and Client procurement teams
- In-depth experience across multiple delivery sectors and comfortable delivering those projects / guiding others in their execution.
- Has worked internationally (events & clients) and has experience and understanding of multi-currency projects and regional nuances, pitfalls, H&S, unions etc
- Impeccable commercial awareness and profitability management skills
- Proven project management experience to a high level including an understanding of guest management logistics for events
- Experience of managing Graphic Production requirements
