We are seeking a dedicated, resilient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEMH school in King's Lynn, Norfolk, supporting pupils aged 5-16. Role Details:
* Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
* Pay: £95 - £105 per day
* Start Date: ASAP (trial days available now)
* Contract: Monday to Friday, term-time only
* Duration: Full academic year (with potential to become permanent)
* Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant in an SEMH setting, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 5-16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, often alongside additional learning difficulties. You'll work closely with experienced staff, gaining hands-on training while helping pupils build trust, regulate emotions, and engage in learning.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
* Assisting with learning, development, and wellbeing
* Supporting students with personal care needs where required, in a respectful and dignified manner
* Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Helping to create a structured, safe, and positive learning environment


This position is ideal for:

* Previous experience in education, youth work, or care settings (desirable, not essential)
