TEMPORARY AUDIT SENIOR

GPN Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established independent accountancy practice in West London that is looking to appoint an experienced Temporary Audit Senior to support the firm through a busy period.

This is a hands-on role suited to an Audit Senior who is confident leading audits from planning through to completion with minimal supervision. The firm has an interesting and varied client base across multiple sectors, with audit clients ranging up to £80m turnover. You will be joining a collaborative team environment and will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit assignments across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading statutory audits from planning to completion
• Managing fieldwork and acting as the main point of contact for clients
• Preparing and reviewing audit files in line with UK GAAP and FRS 102
• Liaising with managers and partners throughout the audit process
• Supporting and guiding junior team members where required

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience
• ?Strong recent experience working within a UK accountancy practice
• Proven ability to lead audits independently from start to finish
• Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
• Experience working with clients across a range of sectors
• Familiarity with PCAS Audit software would be advantageous
