MAI Sushi is recruiting for an Experienced Assistant Sushi Chef Manager to lead our team at Mark's & Spencer kiosk No. 7 Market St., Manchester, M1 1WT.

A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, ability to follow brand standards and comply with company policies

Reliable transportation for your commute to work early in the morning

And are able to:

Be accountable for the team in the Chef Manager's absence, whilst maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations

Ensure the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves

Be highly organised, with a focus on forward planning

Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift

Accurately label products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift

Be a skilled multitasker

Be an early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days

Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens and COSHH are desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.

Between £13.16 per hour or above (depending on experience) with a minimum of 35 hours per week
