Palliative Care Health Care Support Worker (Band 3)Vacancy at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

28.5 hours per week, part-time fixed‐term contract / maternity cover.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker to join our community Palliative Respite Team. The post holder will work as part of the Palliative Care Respite Team and report to the Team Coordinator. They will assist the District Nursing Team in delivering high quality community‐based nursing and social care to patients with palliative care needs who wish to remain at home. The post holder will work collaboratively with other members of the Intermediate Tier Services in supporting the patient and carers and providing personal, social, psychological and spiritual care. They regularly work without direct supervision in the patient's home.
