Communications Manager, High Growth Business, International Stores Comms Hub

DescriptionAmazon is seeking a strategic communications professional to join its International Stores Communications team based in London, UK. This role will support our High Growth Businesses – Amazon Business, Payments, and Multi-Channel Fulfilment – across all countries and regions outside of the US. Although this role has a strong focus on B2B comms programming, B2C launches and initiatives are also a priority.

As part of a central hub team, you will develop centralized communications strategies and messaging while partnering with in-country comms teams across up to 29 countries in Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and APAC to localise and deliver programmes. You will serve as the topic expert for these businesses, manage both proactive and reactive issues, and build mechanisms to coordinate communications programmes at scale internationally. This role requires close collaboration with U.S.-based comms counterparts and managing multiple stakeholders across the business.

Key job responsibilities

Develop centralized PR strategies, messaging, and campaigns for Amazon's High Growth Businesses (Amazon Business, Payments, and Multi-Channel Fulfilment)

Partner with in-country PR teams to localise and execute communications programmes across multiple regions

Serve as subject matter expert and provide strategic communications counsel to senior‐level executives

Manage proactive media coverage and reactive media inquiries and issues

Build and implement mechanisms to coordinate B2B & B2C communications programmes across up to 29 countries

Collaborate with US comms counterparts to align on global strategies and messaging

Coordinate with third‐party business partners on announcements and joint initiatives

Write and manage approvals for press materials, statements, and external messaging

Track industry trends and competitive landscape

About The TeamThe International Stores Comms Hub is a central team supporting priority Stores communications across all countries outside the US. We partner with local comms teams and US‐based global leads to scale international activity efficiently through strategic direction and single‐threaded leadership.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in professional communications or public relations

Experience working within a global company, with multi‐country responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in media relations and issues management

B2B communications experience and a proven ability to develop centralized strategies that can be localised across diverse regions

Experience building coordination mechanisms and processes for multi‐country communications

Strong stakeholder management skills across geographic and organisational boundaries with experience of managing executive speaking engagements

Experience driving proactive customer‐focused press coverage including launches and speaking engagements

Experience managing third‐party announcements involving partners or customers

Solid judgement in fast‐paced, deadline‐oriented environments with narrow time frames

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Creative problem‐solver with entrepreneurial thinking

Ability to multitask, prioritise, and earn trust across multiple teams

Positive, can‐do attitude
