Here at GXO, we're looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our BAE Systems contract based in Blackburn. As a Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Team Manager to ensure an effective warehouse operation that meets key performance indicators and exceeds customer expectations. You'll lead a team of Multi‐Task Operatives (MTOs), driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement in a secure and safety-focused environment.

This is a part‐time, permanent position. You'll work Thursday & Friday, covering the hours of 14:15 till 00:00.

Pay, benefits and moreWe're looking to offer a salary of up to £15,712.23 per annum and 13 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Your benefits include a company‐sponsored pension scheme, life assurance, and death in service.

What you'll do on a typical day

Motivate and manage your team to achieve and exceed performance objectives

Ensure efficient operations across goods in, packing, kitting, goods out, loading, and unloading

Maintain stock accuracy and integrity to contractual levels

Drive Health & Safety compliance through proactive risk assessments and team engagement

Monitor performance, attendance, and training needs, ensuring a skilled and flexible workforce

Support disciplinary and grievance processes when required

What you need to succeed at GXO

Proven leadership and team management experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

Strong communication skills and a proactive, "can‐do" attitude

PC literacy with good understanding of Microsoft Office

Flexibility regarding shift patterns

You must be able to obtain Full SC Level Security Clearance with no restrictions
