Legal Counsel - Part-Time - Finance

Job description

We are working with a leading international bank and seeking a Legal Counsel to support its Export and Infrastructure Finance team in London. This is a unique part‐time role (3 days per week) and for a 12 month fixed term contract with potential to be extended. The role involves advising on a broad range of complex cross‐border export credit, infrastructure and project finance transactions across EMEA and other key markets, with exposure to sustainable finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Drafting and negotiating finance documentation across export credit and project finance transactions

Advising on portfolio matters, including distressed and non‐distressed scenarios

Working closely with credit, compliance, ESG, tax and senior management teams

About you

UK qualified lawyer with ideally 2 - 5 years' PQE gained in the finance team of a leading law firm or financial institution.

Strong experience in project finance transactions, ideally - export, infrastructure and/or project finance experience
