About the Role
The Strategic Account Executive will drive new revenue growth by acquiring enterprise clients and managing key relationships to ensure long-term success.
This is a new business–focused role with responsibility for the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close, while engaging senior stakeholders and delivering tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition, owning the full sales cycle with a strong focus on new logo wins
- Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across enterprise clients
- Develop strategic account plans aligned to client needs and business objectives
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximise revenue
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and expansions
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to position solutions effectively
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting for senior leadership
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in enterprise consultative sales within a software or technology environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
- Experience in solution selling, managing complex and multi-product deals
- Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term growth
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business challenges into solutions
- Familiarity with SaaS sales cycles and enterprise-level deployments
- Collaborative approach to working across teams
Desirable
- Experience selling HRTech, SkillsTech, or EdTech solutions
- Understanding of the EMEA enterprise market and workforce development landscape
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Fluent in English
