We are currently looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established pallet distribution company based in Purfleet. This is a multi-drop role involving the delivery of palletised goods using curtain side and box side vehicles. A pump trolley will be provided, and some loads may be forklifted out upon delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Secure loads safely and correctly before transportation
• Follow planned delivery routes and maintain timely schedules
• Report any incidents, vehicle issues, or delays to both the client and REC Source
• Ensure full compliance with Tachograph and driver hours regulations
• Safely operate a pump trolley for deliveries where required

Requirements :

• Full UK Driving Licence with a valid Class 2 (Category C) entitlement, held for at least 3 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph Card

Pay Rates :

PAYE Rate:

• £15.50 per hour

Umbrella Rate:

• £19.38 per hour

LTD Rate:

• £20 per hour
