It is being had — right now — in the treasury functions of banks, the trading desks of hedge funds, the risk committees of asset managers, and the operations teams of prime brokers and custodians across London and Europe.

The opportunity
A firm at the forefront of institutional digital asset liquidity — providing deep, reliable, multi-asset liquidity across crypto markets to sophisticated financial institutions — is looking for a senior institutional sales professional based in London.
You will be covering a defined universe of institutional counterparties: banks, asset managers, hedge funds, market makers, proprietary trading firms, and family offices. Your mandate is to originate, develop, and convert relationships with institutions that are either actively trading digital assets or building the infrastructure to do so.
This is a relationship-driven, high-conviction sales role. Not a volume game.
The profile
You have institutional sales experience in a relevant adjacent market — FX, fixed income, crypto, or electronic trading — and a credible track record of building relationships with sophisticated institutional counterparties in the London market.
You understand liquidity. How it's priced, how it's consumed, what institutional clients care about when they're evaluating a liquidity provider — spread consistency, reject rates, latency, credit, the quality of the relationship behind the price stream.
You have specific exposure to digital assets — either from a crypto-native background with institutional sales experience, or from a TradFi sales background with meaningful digital assets engagement. The hybrid profile is genuinely valued here.
You are articulate, commercially sharp, and credible in front of a CFO, a Head of Trading, or a Chief Risk Officer.
This role is not right for you if
— Your digital assets experience is retail, consumer, or exchange-facing without institutional sales exposure
— You have never sold a liquidity, execution, or trading product to a professional counterparty
— You are early in your sales career and building toward institutional coverage
— You are not based in London or the UK
The moment
MiCA is live. The regulatory environment in the UK is maturing. Institutional appetite — evidenced by real capital flows, real desk allocations, and real RFPs — is no longer aspirational. It is happening.
