Recruitment Consultant (Legal Executive Search) | High-Performance Desk
London | Full-time | 5 days in-office (fast-track hybrid available at Senior level)
£27,000 base | £60,000 OTE | £80,000+ Year 1 potential for top performers
We’re building one of the fastest-growing specialist executive search businesses in the legal market, partnering with elite law firms and global organisations on senior-level hiring mandates where the stakes are high and the delivery matters.
This is not traditional recruitment.
This is high-performance legal headhunting + commercial business development at the top end of the market.
The Role
You’ll join a high-performance team working across legal executive search and business development, building relationships with senior legal professionals and decision-makers across private practice and in-house markets.
You will start on a 180 model, owning the front end of the search process:
- Cold calling and market mapping senior legal talent
- Building and owning candidate pipelines across niche legal markets
- Booking high-quality meetings with candidates and your manager
- Supporting live mandates on £50k+ average fee roles
- Developing into full 360 search delivery as you progress
From day one, you’re on the phones (day 3/4), learning fast, and operating directly alongside senior consultants and managers.
Who We Want

You’ll likely come from:
- Competitive sport (BUCS, university sport, captains, elite-level competition)
- Sales backgrounds (SDR, estate agency, cold calling, lead gen, business development)
- Law graduates or academically strong individuals with commercial awareness
- Or outstanding graduates (minimum 2:1) who are genuinely exceptional

- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly

Progression & Performance

- First promotion: typically 6–7 months
- Promotion criteria: 3 closed deals
