Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development professional who thrives on opening doors, building strategic relationships, and converting opportunity into action.

If you enjoy the chase — identifying prospects, creating conversations from cold, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and turning technical capability into compelling commercial proposals.. This could be for you

You’ll be working at the forefront of advanced battery technology, supporting cutting-edge defence applications across:

• Autonomous systems & drones
• Military vehicles
• Soldier-worn power systems
• Next-generation energy storage solutions

The focus will be on developing opportunities across the UK defence sector and allied markets including the US and Europe.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a true “hunter” mindset
• Is comfortable engaging specialist SME defence firms who want to scale battery production here in the UK
• Understands complex technical or engineering-led environments
• Can shape early-stage conversations into qualified opportunities
• Has credibility within defence, drones, advanced manufacturing, energy or adjacent sectors
• Is motivated by impact, growth and strategic influence
