The role

As a Landlord & Tenant/Valuation Surveyor you will be working with a loyal client base looking after a diverse portfolio. The role covers two areas

Lease Advisory

  • Advising landlord and tenant clients on rent reviews, lease renewals, break clauses, surrenders, and re-gears
  • Interpreting lease terms, statutory provisions, and case law to provide accurate technical advice
  • Analysing market comparables, rental evidence, and valuation data to support negotiations
  • Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for lease events
  • Managing critical date diaries and ensuring timely action on all events
  • Assisting with dispute resolution including submissions for arbitration or expert determination
  • Working closely with the property management and commercial agency teams


Valuation

  • Delivering RICS Red Book valuations across commercial and residential assets including retail, office, industrial, and development sites
  • Undertaking non-secured lending valuations for a range of clients
  • Carrying out inspections, measurements, and market research to support detailed reporting
  • Managing a varied caseload with accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Supporting business development and client relationship initiatives


What you will need

  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in landlord and tenant and/or valuation work
  • MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Confident report writer with excellent attention to detail
  • Organised and able to manage a varied caseload under your own initiative

£60,000–£70,000 depending on experience, plus:
