Sales Account Manager – Southeast Region | Packaging Automation


A leading international packaging automation business is seeking a Sales Account Manager to support continued growth across the Southeast region.


This role is suited to an experienced technical sales professional with a background in packaging machinery, industrial automation, or capital equipment sales who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships and delivering consultative solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage customer relationships across the Southeast territory
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage the full sales process from enquiry through to project handover
  • Deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers
  • Work closely with engineering, service, and international support teams
  • Attend customer sites, trade exhibitions, and industry events
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity and sales reporting
  • Provide market and competitor feedback to the wider business


Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical sales or account management
  • Background within packaging machinery, automation, or capital equipment
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand customer applications and propose solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage a regional territory independently


Territory: Southeast Region

Travel required throughout the territory
